Chalets 11am - Check Out Times - Campers 12 pm

Observing the following rules, using common sense and displaying considerate behavior will enhance everyone's camping experience.

* All visitors and overnight guests must register at office. Visitors are requested to leave by 10 pm.
* Campground QUIET HOURS are from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM, STRICTLY ENFORCED! Please - no generators, no personal noise.
* Slow down, relax. The posted speed limit is 5 mph for all vehicles.
* Picnic Tables and Fire Rings are meant to be where they are. . . . . . . . . Please, do not move them!
* Many campers still prepare meals around the campfire. . . Please make sure all trash makes it into the recepticles, not the firering.
* Firewood is for sale at the office, or you are welcome to any downfall that is truly "Dead and Down". . . But if you choose to cut any living or standing tree, you will be charged $100 per inch diameter.
* Please don't trench around your tent!
* Pets are welcome as long as they are kept leashed at all times and do not
disturb other people. Owner is responsible for picking up after their pet and they are not to be left unattended. Pets are not allowed in any building including the restrooms. Aggressive pets may create a condition that will require removal.
* The use of All Terrain Vehicles, Firearms, and Fireworks is prohibited, including Air and Paintball Guns, Dart Guns and Bows and Arrows.
* Refunds are not made for changes in your plans or the weather. . . .but may be given in an emergency situation. A 10% service charge will be assessed for refunds and will be issued only by mail. Refunds will not be made for any major holiday.
* Summersville Lake Retreat shall not be held liable for the actions or activities of campers and guests. Campers assume responsibility for the safety of themselves, their family, guests and property.
* This is private property. We take pride in our facilities and respect other campers privacy and trust you to do the same. We reserve the right to enforce these rules to make your stay more memorable.
