Lighthouse Plaques

BW-Logo-with-TM

A sincere, thank you to all who have shown an interest in the Lighthouse Project and have asked about ways that they may help contribute.  We have set up ways that folks can participate at whatever level that they are comfortable with.

Sticker-1

Have your name, advertise your business, or memorialize a loved one on one of the Stainless Steel Plaques that are being placed in the Summersville Lake Lighthouse.  The purchase of the plaques helps with the funding that the students used in the fabrication of the Light Room and the 122 steps to the top.  Nicholas County Career & Technical Center's Welding Instructor Joe Hypes and Pre-Engineering Instrctor Dan Cutlip taught their students how to make this monumental project come to life.  They built the 122 steps to the top.  Fayette Institute of Technology Instructor Roy Neal and Drafting Instructor Gary Chapman's students fabricated the frame to the Light Room.

Summersville Lake Retreat had given out 5 scholarships to the 2012 and 2013 Welding, Pre-Engineering, and Drafting Students for their participation in the Ligthhouse Project to date and has also donated funds to each of the participating schools to show our appreciation for what they did to help.
